Manufacturing Engineer (Associate or Experienced)Company:Argon STBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate orExperienced Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania. Position Responsibilities: Provides production support during all phases of manufacturingCreates of bill of material and production build plans while leading and implementing manufacturing plansDevelops and implements production and tooling methodologiesParticipates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplinesDevelops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for buildConducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirementsAssists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practicesAnalyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitionsResolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or scheduleCoordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and conceptsValidates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problemsImplements lean principles and technologiesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawingsMust be able to work 2nd shiftPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience is electrical/electronics manufacturingExperience in 3D Modeling applications such as Catia, Siemens NX, CreoExperience using manufacturing execution systems such as TipQA Shopfloor Execution or CostpointExperience in creation of manufacturing planning and lean manufacturingConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This position is for 2nd shift.
