Job Summary
We're seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team at Rock River Nursing & Rehab in Fort Atkinson, WI. The successful candidate will assist our physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care, while ensuring a positive and respectful environment for our patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
Conduct patient assessments and document outcomes in accordance with department policies and procedures
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and progress patient care plans
Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on a variety of topics related to physical therapy
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Wisconsin
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred
Per Diem schedule; flexible availability required
