Employment: Part-Time, 25 hours per week to start Job Summary Hashbury Fleur is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and highly engaged Brand Ambassador to represent our brand across New Jersey's cannabis retail market, industry events, trade shows, and local communities. This is a 90% field-based role. The majority of your time will be spent in the market—visiting dispensaries, engaging budtenders and consumers, supporting retail sales initiatives, executing visual merchandising, attending events and trade shows, creating social media content, and building relationships that increase Hashbury Fleur's visibility and reputation. The Brand Ambassador is a field-facing brand and retail activation role and serves as a direct counterpart to the Hashbury Fleur Sales Representative. The Sales Representative is primarily responsible for account management, buyers, orders, revenue, and account growth. The Brand Ambassador is responsible for bringing the brand to life in the field through education, consumer engagement, merchandising, events, social media, community engagement, and retail activation. Both roles work closely together and report to the Director of Sales. This position will begin as a part-time role of less than 25 hours per week, with the expectation that the position will grow into a full-time opportunity as Hashbury Fleur expands its retail footprint, brand presence, and market activity. This is an opportunity to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility as the brand scales. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Retail events, vendor days, trade shows, activations, and other industry opportunities frequently take place during weekends and holidays. Most importantly, the Brand Ambassador is a steward of the Hashbury Fleur brand. You should live the brand, understand our products and story, and represent Hashbury Fleur authentically in every interaction. Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Representation & Stewardship Serve as a primary field representative and face of Hashbury Fleur throughout New Jersey. Represent the brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, authenticity, and confidence. Develop a deep understanding of Hashbury Fleur's products, brand story, manufacturing processes, solventless extraction, and market positioning. Clearly communicate what differentiates Hashbury Fleur from other cannabis brands. Maintain the brand's tone, visual identity, values, and standards across all consumer, retail, social, and industry interactions. Build genuine relationships with budtenders, retail staff, consumers, buyers, media, creators, and industry professionals. Maintain a professional appearance and presence consistent with the Hashbury Fleur brand. Represent the brand with the same level of care whether interacting with an individual consumer or hundreds of people at an industry event. The Brand Ambassador is the field and brand counterpart to the Sales Representative. Work closely with the Sales Representative and Director of Sales to execute account-level strategies. Support Sales Representatives during retail visits, launches, activations, and key account opportunities. Build relationships with budtenders and retail staff while the Sales Representative manages buyer and account-level relationships. Identify opportunities for increased product visibility, education, merchandising, promotions, and retail activation. Communicate retailer, budtender, and consumer feedback to the Sales Representative and Director of Sales. Identify qualified sales leads and potential retail opportunities and route them to the appropriate Sales Representative. Support new product launches and account expansion initiatives. Help Sales Representatives maintain strong brand presence after an account has been opened. Coordinate field activity with the sales team to ensure efforts are complementary and aligned. Retail & Field Marketing Spend approximately 90% of working time in the field visiting cannabis retailers throughout New Jersey. Serve as the on-site Hashbury Fleur presence at dispensaries. Engage budtenders and retail teams through product and brand education. Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features, formats, ingredients, and extraction methods. Educate retail staff and consumers about Hashbury Fleur's solventless products and brand story. Support vendor days, pop-ups, budtender events, educational sessions, and other retail activations. Build relationships that increase brand awareness, product consideration, and consumer loyalty. Identify opportunities for additional retail placements, displays, education, promotions, and activations. Gather feedback from retail staff and consumers and communicate relevant insights to the sales and marketing teams. Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions, displays, and retail activity. Travel efficiently between accounts and maintain a consistent field schedule. Own the visual presentation of Hashbury Fleur at participating retail locations. Ensure products are properly displayed, organized, clean, stocked, and aligned with brand standards. Install and maintain approved point-of-sale materials, signage, displays, counter cards, digital assets, and other merchandising materials. Identify opportunities for premium placement and increased visibility within dispensaries. Conduct regular merchandising checks and document opportunities or issues. Work with retail staff to maintain strong product presentation. Photograph retail displays and merchandising execution for internal reporting and approved social media content. Support new product launches and retail merchandising rollouts. Provide feedback to the marketing team on retail presentation and merchandising effectiveness. Engage directly with consumers at dispensaries, events, and community activations. Create memorable and authentic consumer experiences. Build customer relationships through personalized interactions and exceptional service. Answer product questions accurately and confidently. Educate consumers on product formats, product characteristics, extraction methods, and the Hashbury Fleur brand. Handle questions and sales objections professionally while maintaining a positive and informative approach. Encourage product trial and consideration where appropriate and in compliance with company policies. Collect consumer feedback and identify recurring questions, preferences, and trends. Events, Trade Shows & Community Engagement Represent Hashbury Fleur at cannabis trade shows, industry conferences, retail events, community events, pop-ups, and other activations. Support event planning, preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown. Assist with booth setup and ensure event materials are organized, clean, and on-brand. Engage attendees and create meaningful conversations around Hashbury Fleur. Participate in product education, demonstrations, public speaking, and community outreach when appropriate. Network with retailers, buyers, brands, media, creators, influencers, and industry professionals. Identify potential partnerships, business development opportunities, and industry relationships. Capture leads and relationship opportunities generated through events. Provide post-event reports covering leads, contacts, feedback, competitive observations, and follow-up opportunities. Community & Industry Relationship Building Develop meaningful relationships within New Jersey's cannabis community. Attend relevant industry gatherings and networking opportunities. Build relationships with budtenders, retailers, cultivators, manufacturers, brands, media, creators, and industry professionals. Identify opportunities for Hashbury Fleur to participate in community initiatives, educational opportunities, partnerships, and industry events. Help expand Hashbury Fleur's network and reputation throughout the market. Provide real-time feedback from the field to help inform sales and marketing decisions. Monitor competitor brands, products, pricing, promotions, displays, and retail activity. Collect information about customer preferences, product feedback, retailer feedback, and market trends. Identify emerging products, consumer preferences, retail trends, and competitive opportunities. Document retail visits, events, activations, merchandising activities, and relationships. QualificationsRequired 2+ years of cannabis industry experience. Strong knowledge of cannabis products, terminology, and culture. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Natural ability to build relationships and engage people. Comfortable speaking with consumers, budtenders, buyers, retail managers, and industry professionals. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional, outgoing, energetic, and approachable personality. Ability to represent a premium cannabis brand authentically and confidently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while staying connected with the sales and marketing teams. Comfortable working on cannabis retail floors for extended periods. Ability and willingness to spend approximately 90% of working time in the field. Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license. Must be able to travel extensively throughout New Jersey. Vehicle must have sufficient space to transport approved event, merchandising, and promotional materials. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, trade shows, and special events. High ethical standards and attention to detail.
