Lead Acquisition Specialist - Mercedes-Benz Stevens Creek

About the Role The Lead Vehicle Acquisition Specialist leads, directs, and trains the Vehicle Acquisition Specialists team to acquire additional inventory for the dealership by actively prospecting outside of the AutoNation Customer Network. The role engages customers through person and phone, uses various prospecting resources, and collaborates with the team to meet goals. Responsibilities Direct, lead, and coach Vehicle Acquisition Specialists through the WBYC BPMS Process. Provide feedback on hiring and performance management of all Specialists. Communicate and ensure goal achievement standards are met by associates and overall dealership performance. Engage in Specialists duties as necessary, leading by example. Review vehicle condition reports, determine wholesale/retail prices, inspect and accept vehicles arriving onsite. Create and execute reconditioning plans to prepare vehicles for sale. Make offers on vehicles and close sales using sound judgement, research, and excellent interpersonal skills. Drive incremental business through high-level engagement with customers. Turn prospective vehicle procurement customers over to the “elite” sales team for sales opportunities. Work with management to identify and allocate current inventory needs. Qualifications 3–4 years of dealership and/or team leadership experience. High School diploma or equivalent. Extremely self‑motivated with ability to set and achieve targeted goals. Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience. Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills. Organizational and follow‑up skills. Experience and desire to work with technology. Valid In‑State driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Compensation and Benefits This position pays minimum wage + commission, approximately $5,000/month.
