Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN)

The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care through the application of the Nursing Process, adhering to state regulations and facility policies. This role emphasizes critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in delivering safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continual education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of the available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.

Position Details

• Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 days per week.
• Requirement to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
• This is a float pool position; flexibility to float between departments and facilities is required.
• Facilities include multiple locations within the region.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Scrub color is flexible.
