Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening and night shifts with 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730). Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Highlights:

• High-acuity Emergency Department serving over 60,000 patients annually with 67 treatment rooms across adult and pediatric populations
• Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Comprehensive Cardiac Center with nationally recognized programs in ECPR/ECMO, transplant, oncology, and burn care
• 4:1 patient ratio with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Epic charting system with 20 hours of orientation provided
• Magnet-designated academic medical center ranked as a leading teaching institution and referral center
• Travel assignment with floating required as needed; local candidates (within 50 miles) not accepted

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), and TNCC
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must pass mandatory telemetry examination prior to start date with strict passing criteria for adult and pediatric rhythms
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
