Make a difference this school year as a dedicated paraprofessional working one-on-one with a student in a local school. This full-time contract opportunity offers immediate start and continues through June 9th, providing a rewarding chance to positively impact a student's educational journey.
As a paraprofessional in this role, you’ll provide essential support to students and educators for 35 hours each week. Immerse yourself in a welcoming school environment and utilize your skills to help shape student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar student support role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Enthusiasm for assisting children in an educational setting
- Ability to adapt to the needs and learning styles of individual students
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient personality
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a designated student, assisting with academic, behavioral, and social needs
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Encourage student engagement and foster a positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and organization
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with educational staff

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $33.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
