Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Key Tasks

\n

• Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities.

\n

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

\n

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving drywall, painting, doors, locks, and fixtures.

\n

• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.

\n

• Assemble, install, move, and repair office furniture, workstations, and equipment.

\n

• Support office relocations, space reconfigurations, and workstation setups.

\n

• Monitor facility conditions and identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.

\n

• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

\n

• Ensure facilities are clean, functional, safe, and presentable at all times.

\n

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.

\n

• Coordinate and oversee external contractors, vendors, and service providers.

\n

• Assist with HVAC monitoring and coordinate specialized repairs as needed.

\n

• Support facility projects, renovations, and office improvement initiatives.

\n

• Conduct safety inspections and help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.

\n

• Assist with emergency preparedness, business continuity, and after-hours facility support when required.

\n

• Support grounds maintenance and seasonal facility needs.

\n

• Assist with receiving, transporting, and setting up equipment and supplies.

\n

• Participate in budget tracking and procurement of maintenance-related materials and services.

\n

• Provide general support for facility-related administrative tasks and special projects.

\n

• Supports maintenance task for company fleet

• Supports set up for company events

• Supports warehouse tasks

Key Qualifications

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

• High school diploma or equivalent.

\n

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.

\n

• Working knowledge of basic painting, drywall, and general building maintenance.

\n

• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

\n

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.

\n

• Basic computer skills for work order management, email, and recordkeeping.

\n

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial office or corporate environment.

\n

• OSHA safety training or other safety-related certifications.

\n

• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers.

\n

• Experience supporting office moves, furniture installations, and workspace reconfigurations.

• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

\n

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when required.

\n

• Ability to respond to facility emergencies outside normal working hours, as needed.

\n

• Frequent movement throughout office, warehouse, and building environments.

\n

• Visual and manual dexterity sufficient to inspect, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
