Overview:

Objective Measures of Performance:

Financial  

• Construction backlog across all islands.
• Ensure all proposals are in line with corporate GP margin targets.

Operations 

• Maintain staff levels across all island markets to support construction.
• Ensure estimating and proposal efforts are in line with Company SOP.

Client Relations

• Maintain existing client base.
• Develop new contractor client base business.

Key Targeted Results (KTR):

Financial 

• >9 month construction backlog each island
• Proposal GP 20% overall average

Operations 

• Annual budget construction manhours
• Annual bid volume
• Win ratio 30%

Client Relations

• Increase in negotiated work
• Develop GC relations with all major GC’s

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standard operating process and procedures for estimating and

pre-construction.

• Identify, hire, and retain adequate estimation staff to support overall estimation efforts.
• Lead, and organize overall company pre-construction processes and efforts.
• Ensure estimating software system is cost accurate and continually updated.
• Ensure estimating staff is knowledgeable and trained in use of the estimating software

and estimating processes and procedures.

• Estimate and lead the major RFP, bid proposal, as required.
• Oversee and ensure that estimates are kept and stored as corporate knowledge.
• Receive and translate for use, the feedback from operations and construction team to

improve estimation and pre-construction efforts.

• Assist with contract review, and lead the pre-construction turnover effort.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Supervisory  responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

• BSSE preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in Electrical/background.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 

• Relevant certificates or licenses are preferred.

Compensation details: 100000-150000 Yearly Salary
