Business Development Manager

Our client is a respected Dallas advisory firm that provides outsourced accounting and financial advisory services to small and mid‑sized companies. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to build relationships with business owners across the Dallas market. If you enjoy working directly with founders and CEOs and selling advisory services that help businesses grow, we would love to connect. This is a consultative, relationship‑driven role, not transactional sales. The right person enjoys learning how businesses operate, building trust with leadership teams, and connecting companies with solutions that make a meaningful impact. What You Will Do Develop relationships with founders, CEOs, and business owners across the Dallas market Build referral partnerships with attorneys, bankers, wealth advisors, and other trusted business advisors Lead discovery conversations to understand financial, operational, and reporting challenges within growing companies Position outsourced accounting and advisory solutions that improve financial visibility and support business growth Guide opportunities through a consultative sales process from introduction through engagement Represent the firm at industry events, networking groups, and professional associations Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to craft thoughtful proposals and engagement strategies The Ideal Background 4 to 8 years of business development experience selling professional services, consulting, advisory, accounting, HR, payroll, or technology services Track record of developing new client relationships within the small and mid sized business market Experience selling through consultative, relationship driven sales cycles Strong presence with business owners and senior executives Comfortable building networks within professional advisor communities This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established advisory firm with strong leadership, a respected reputation in the market, and meaningful long term client relationships.
