Description:
A Plumbing Apprentice assists licensed plumbers in installing and repairing plumbing systems while learning the trade and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in Installation and Repair: Help licensed plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Maintain Work Area: Keep the work area clean and organized, respecting the premises of customers.
Handle Tools and Materials: Carry and manage tools, materials, and equipment required for plumbing tasks.
Learn Safety Procedures: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Customer Interaction: Answer basic customer inquiries and provide support during plumbing tasks.
Requirements:Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Interest in Plumbing: A strong desire to learn and pursue a career in plumbing.
Physical Stamina: Good physical condition and strength to handle the demands of the job, including working in confined spaces and lifting heavy materials.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to follow instructions and learn new concepts quickly, with good problem-solving abilities.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
