At Summit Pointe Senior Living in Marion, IA, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, supportive environment for our residents and team members alike. We're looking for a caring and dedicated Experienced Resident Assistant to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional care. What You'll Do As an Experienced Resident Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.
- Helping maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Supporting residents in following their care plans and routines.
- Collaborating with other team members to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Resident Assistant or in a similar caregiving role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a caring demeanor, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Dedication: A commitment to providing high-quality care and building meaningful relationships with residents.
