Pay From $22 Per Hour

MUST: The Surgical Coordinator needs to have the following:

• 3+ year of recent experience as a Surgical Coordinator in a surgical setting
• 10+ years of experience in a surgical or high volume medical specialty practice
• Calling sites for medical records for patients having upcoming procedures
• Reviewing medical records to ensure they are properly updated with required labs, tests and imaging results
• Coordinating and tracking preoperative medical clearances
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

MUST: The Duties of the Surgical Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:

• Review medical records for upcoming procedures
• Ensure all required labs, tests and imaging results are uploaded to patient's medical records
• Coordinate and track pre-operative medical clearances
• Call practice sites for laboratory tests, EKG's and imaging results
• Answer phones
• Take detailed messages for pre assessment nurses prior to procedures
