Stable Office Opportunity | Accounting Assistant | $22/Hour


We're hiring for an Accounting Assistant position with a professional accounting firm in the Cookeville area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accounting background who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting clients and staff in a professional office environment. An accounting degree is not required, but hands-on accounting experience is essential.

What you'll do:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Enter and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with bookkeeping and account reconciliations
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage client and company financial data
• Prepare reports and support daily accounting operations
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members

What you need:

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks required
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Professional communication and organizational skills

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Days/hours: Full-time, day shift
