Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed according to established practices and standards.
• Review prescriptions and diagnosis; act as a liaison between providers and support staff.
• Prepare equipment such as immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices.
• Maintain records, reports, and files accurately and confidentially.
• Assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent.
• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred; IMRT and LDR/HDR experience preferred.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
• Must have New Mexico Licensure upon hire.
• Compliance with set policies and procedures, including dress code and patient safety standards.
