Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe. What We're Looking For We hire for our core values – and we mean it: Service – You understand that exceptional service builds trust and reputation Integrity – You are accountable, honest, and self-aware Innovation – You look for better ways to get the job done Drive – You bring 100% effort and push through obstacles Commitment – You dedicate yourself to the mission Key Responsibilities Deter criminal activity and misconduct Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor Qualifications Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following: Two years of customer service experience One year of security experience Law enforcement experience Corrections experience Military experience Requirements Valid GA Security License Valid GA Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Above-average written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred Compensation & Benefits $18.00 per hour Paid time off Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Pension / retirement benefits Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion If you want a team that invests in you, show us you're ready to invest in it.
