Construction Project CoordinatorHACM - Milwaukee, WI 53202DescriptionThe project coordinator/engineer assist the project management group in documentation, material procurement, bidding, cost control, expediting, safety and administrative duties as assigned. Typical class essential duties include performing job responsibilities consistent with company policies, collecting and organizing information for project reports, assisting in the transmission of contract documents, managing construction projects involving cost control and safety reviews, studying and developing a good understanding of project management principles, learning and observing all construction activities to assist field management personnel, and other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsTraining and experience typically require a Bachelor of Science Degree in a related curriculum and/or on-the-job experience on similar projects that enables one to perform the required tasks in addition to a Bachelor Degree from a 4 year University. Licensing requirements typically require a valid Wisconsin Driver License. Knowledge requirements include 0 to 36 months of on-site experience, a demonstrated record of good managerial ability, a working knowledge of construction field operations and the disciplines required to be part of a construction project team, knowledge of Construction Management Software such as ProContractor, Pro Core; Technical software such as AutoCad, Plan Swift, Bluebeam; and other computer skills, functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to process verbal information, understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, communicate with others to convey information effectively, think logically in following procedures and instructions, compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes, meet deadlines with attention to detail, and utilize communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, and others sufficient to exchange or convey information. Physical requirements include reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
