American Welding & Gas (AWG) is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Springfield, Missouri location. If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships, improving operations, and driving business results, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of branch performance, including:

• Creating and maintaining a culture where safety is the highest priority
• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing branch team
• Driving profitable sales growth and expanding customer relationships
• Managing branch profitability through effective P&L oversight
• Delivering exceptional customer service for walk-in, phone, and delivery customers
• Overseeing inventory, warehouse, production, and distribution operations
• Monitoring key performance metrics and implementing continuous improvements
• Hiring, developing, and evaluating branch employees
• Collaborating with regional leadership and neighboring branches to support company initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience
• Previous experience managing an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or retail operation
• Demonstrated success leading teams and developing employees
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, and profit & loss performance
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems
