Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Psychiatry - Per Diem

Job Description We are looking for an Inpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work alongside our in‑house psychiatrist to cover our 24/7 operational 24‑bed inpatient psych unit located within Stamford Hospital’s main campus in Stamford, CT. In this role, the APRN will support the psychiatrist by rounding and charting on approximately 16 patients per shift. No admitting or discharging is involved. Weekend per diem coverage: Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Shifts are approximately 8 AM to 4 PM with some flexibility. Commitment: 2–4 shifts per month. Qualifications Valid license as an APP (APRN or PA) in CT. ACLS certification required. Prior inpatient psychiatry APRN or PA experience required.
