ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Melrose Park, IL to hire a Special Education Teacher for a full-time Pre-K opportunity. This position supports young learners in a structured early childhood special education setting.
Position Details:
Full-time, onsite position
Pre-K special education classroom
Self-contained classroom setting
Full school year contract
District actively interviewing qualified candidates
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Support early academic, communication, social-emotional, and developmental skills
Implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
Collaborate with classroom staff, related service providers, and families
Requirements:
Active Illinois Special Education certification required
Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred
School-based experience preferred
