IT Support Specialist

Requirements We want someone with at least 1 year of hands-on IT experience, ideally in technical support or field service. Were looking for a solid grasp of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills and clear, professional communication are essential. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Experience with Windows installation and software configuration is required. Familiarity with printers, scanners, and other peripherals is important. We value a customer-first mindset, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong written communication skills and accurate administrative work are expected. At least 1 year of IT field service experience is preferred. Industry certifications such as Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A+, or Network+ are a plus. Experience in airport or transportation environments is also an advantage. Responsibilities We provide onsite IT support with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. We respond quickly to break/fix incidents and work to resolve them proactively. We manage IT service tickets and keep updates and resolutions current. We support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners, including troubleshooting and repairs. We install and configure computers, monitors, and other IT equipment as needed. We troubleshoot software issues across platforms, including Microsoft Office applications. We resolve desktop environment issues related to operating systems such as Windows and macOS. We assist with LAN and network infrastructure support. We communicate with users to understand issues and provide clear guidance on solutions. We help with upcoming projects and other operational needs as assigned. We maintain professional presentation, follow company policies and safety procedures, and submit accurate documentation and timesheets. We keep work areas organized and collaborate effectively with teammates and clients. Company We are hiring a Field Service IT Technician to join our team at Honolulu International Airport in Hawaii. This is a full-time onsite role supporting critical airport operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and the role may involve walking, lifting, and occasional weekend or early morning/late evening shifts.
