Ideal candidates will possess:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY applicants welcome
- Previous experience in school settings valued, though not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment
In this role, you will:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Engage in ongoing professional development and respond to feedback to continuously improve your practice
