Job Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the organization's established policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is also responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
A graduate from an accredited nursing program.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
New graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a current NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
BLS certification is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
Previous nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
