Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Job Description We are immediately hiring a Supply Chain Operations Specialist in Flint, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) intermediate required Pay Type: Salary paid weekly Annual Salary Pay: $55,000 per year based on experience Schedule: Floater 1st Shift Monday–Saturday, 6am‑2:30pm; must cover 2nd Shift 1:30pm‑10:00pm and 3rd Shift 9:30pm‑6:00am with occasional Sundays Job Category: Materials Planning & Scheduling Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision benefits start at 30 days 401(k) savings plan with company match Discounted employee stock purchase options Employee discounts on tools, cars, appliances, travel All major holidays paid and PTO within first year Up to 12 weeks paid maternity leave Essential Functions Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work group(s). Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists. Lead and initiate employees through in-depth training and continuous review of policies. Decision making for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls, customer interactions, specialized process troubleshooting. Support development of system and process training for employees. Identify and solve operational issues with account(s) through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives. Additional Responsibilities Floater across multiple shifts for Supply Chain Ops Associate roles. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Effective verbal and written communication with employees, peers, and management. Strong organizational, follow‑up, and computer skills. Works self‑directed with minimal supervision. Manages individual performance and employee relations. Uses sound judgement when information is incomplete or ambiguous. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) intermediate preferred. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) intermediate required. OSHA intermediate required. DOT and Hazmat (based on the account) intermediate preferred. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One year or more in logistics, warehouse, or related field. One year or more previous supervisory experience preferred. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) intermediate preferred. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) intermediate required.
