Responsibilities include assisting with design, development, system configuration, implementation, continuous improvement, and support of information systems for the organization. Must be comfortable working with multiple teams and key customers to ensure appropriate development and implementation of application functionality. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities Defines, documents, builds, and maintains EHR application content (Hospital Billing Certification required) Creates functional specification documents to create content within the EHR application and is primarily responsible for validating this content with the business owner Ability to independently lead projects adhering to defined project management strategies and guidelines. Independently manages assigned projects and meets deadlines consistently Acts as a resource for all team members as well as other application teams in identifying issues and resolution paths. Effectively manages and navigates cross-team collaboration across all IS teams when appropriate Achieves and maintains required certifications (if applicable) of respective EHR application and stays current with new application functionality and enhancements Acts as a liaison between IT, customers, and vendors. Coordinates and facilitates meetings including all relevant documentation with operational areas using the software application. Prepares and maintains documentation, including analysis, design, programming, standard procedures, and user guides Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department and/or customer. Provides on-call / after-hours support as required Communicates effectively with all levels of leadership across all entities, up to and including C-Level interactions Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-4 years related work experience required in Electronic Health Record implementation and support, with a demonstrated track record of success. Alternatively, at least 3+ years of operational experience utilizing Hospital Billing applications. Vendor certification in the assigned applications/modules. If not currently certified, employee has 6 months from hire or transfer date to obtain certification. Ability to assess problems and projects independently with minimal supervision. Possesses advanced application knowledge and can apply it effectively to unique scenarios and problems. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and other web-based applications. Capable of producing complex documents, performing analysis, and maintaining databases. As a healthcare organization, we prioritize safety.
