Interim Controller / CFO (6-Month Project)

Location: Chatsworth, CA (Onsite) | Start: ASAP

We’re seeking a hands‑on Interim Controller/CFO to lead the finance function within a manufacturing/engineering environment. This role will oversee month‑end close, full balance sheet ownership, and team leadership, while partnering closely with operations and supply chain to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, reporting, and full accounting cycle
• Own balance sheet, reconciliations, and financial accuracy
• Manage team (4–5 direct; ~15 total)
• Oversee AR/AP, journal entries (including payroll), and weekly cash reporting
• Deliver monthly reporting and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Controls
• Lead external audits and drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Prior Controller/CFO (site or plant) experience
• Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
• Strong leadership and ability to operate independently
• Experience managing complex balance sheets and audits
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience

Compensation and Benefits
