Overview
Registered Nurse, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date September 14, 2026 for 17 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,307 to $2,453. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with cardiac conditions, including telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support perioperative and postoperative care as part of the cardiac care pathway
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans; participate in rounds and family conferences
- Monitor clinical status, respond to changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions; perform rapid assessments and escalation per protocol
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure clear communication with families and team members

Requirements
- Current NY RN license (New York license only)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac care experience
- Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required; Telemetry experience
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work in a high-acuity pediatric cardiac unit on 12-hour shifts; eligible for travel assignment
- Education: RN licensure (appropriate to practice in New York)
