Regional Director of Quality - Americas 

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Quality to lead and advance the quality organization for a growing global manufacturer across the Americas region.
This position is ideal for a mature, energized quality leader who can raise expectations across multiple stakeholders, strengthen process maturity, and establish measurable short-, medium-, and long-term quality objectives. The Regional Director will lead regional quality managers, partner closely with executive leadership, and promote a consistent culture of quality and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing locations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic leadership for the quality organization across the Americas, including operations in the United States, Canada, and Latin America
Lead, develop, and support regional and subregional Quality Managers and quality engineering personnel
Establish measurable short-, medium-, and long-term goals aligned with business priorities and customer requirements
Drive consistency and process maturity across manufacturing sites, addressing system nonconformances and areas of subjectivity
Strengthen quality systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards throughout the region
Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, commercial leadership, and executive stakeholders to improve product quality and customer satisfaction
Oversee regulatory compliance and the continued development of regional quality management systems
Monitor quality KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Lead structured problem-solving, root-cause analysis, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits while ensuring timely resolution of findings
Promote accountability, collaboration, and a strong quality culture across a geographically dispersed organization
Provide regular quality performance updates and strategic recommendations to global and regional executive leadership

 

QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience leading quality teams across multiple manufacturing sites or geographic regions
Demonstrated success improving quality systems, operational performance, and process maturity
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience developing and managing quality metrics, strategic plans, and measurable performance objectives
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders around quality priorities
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to travel throughout the Americas as business needs require

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience within industrial packaging (crating), heavy / industrial machinery manufacturing, manufacturing for O&G, 
Leadership experience across the United States, Canada, and Latin America
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving tools
Experience strengthening quality organizations during periods of growth, transformation, or increasing customer demand
Track record of developing quality leaders and building accountable, high-performing regional teams
