The position runs from late August through the end of November, with a steady 35-hour workweek in an onsite setting.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Current, active Connecticut OT license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Comfortable supporting various age groups and adapting to multiple school locations within a district

Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing intervention strategies
• Traveling to and working at multiple school sites within the district as needed
• Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal-setting for student success
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to recommend classroom modifications and facilitate student engagement
• Providing support and training for school personnel and families regarding interventions and strategies
