American Mechanical Services is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose problems accurately, communicate clearly with customers, and complete repairs correctly the first time.

We offer strong hourly pay, sales commission, steady year-round work, advancement opportunities, and direct access to company leadership. We work on residential and commercial HVAC systems, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems throughout the Charleston area.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone dependable, technically capable, and willing to take ownership of their work.

What We Need

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic ability 
• Experience with split systems, package units, heat pumps, and commercial equipment 
• Ability to explain findings and repair options to customers 
• EPA certification 
• Valid driver’s license 
• Professional appearance and communication 
• Accurate service reports and job documentation 
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation 
• Boiler, refrigeration, controls, or plumbing experience is a major advantage
