Field Service Technician III

Responsibilities Install, test, and repair new and reworked TechnipFMC products, including equipment and tools Handle customer comments, requests, and complaints Provide sales support and ensure customers are informed about all aspects of the job Complete Field Service Orders (FSO), Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT), and other revenue-generating documentation on time Communicate quality issues and equipment or procedural defects to Service Management Complete field documentation after each service job Provide project support and handle project issues to eliminate downtime Prepare and complete safety-related documentation Pursue safe work practices Mentor or instruct less experienced team members and customers in and out of the field Travel frequently to customer locations across West Texas, including overnight stays as operationally required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma Minimum 3 years of experience in field service technician role Advanced knowledge of one or more of: electrical; surface equipment; hydraulics equipment; mechanical equipment and tools; structural steel Ability to read and understand drawings Able to perform moderate complex calculations Ability to use and understand technical tools and instruments and perform basic troubleshooting Knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures Experience working in oil and gas completion operations and customer locations Knowledge of pressure control equipment, frac operations, and wellsite safety practices Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Understanding of maintenance management systems and equipment documentation requirements Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and digital reporting systems Experience with service quality, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis processes Previous experience training, mentoring, or leading less experienced technicians Knowledge of company HSE standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations Communication Teamwork Adaptability Core Competencies Demonstrates advanced knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and repair in field service environments.
