Customer Service Coordinator – Overview TITLE: Customer Service Coordinator POSITION OBJECTIVE: To provide direct and outstanding customer service by following corporate procedures and ensuring customers' requests are reviewed and processed to the satisfaction of both parties. Benefits Two medical plans HSA with employer contribution Employer paid life insurance Short‑term and long‑term disability coverage Employee assistance program Voluntary benefits: vision, accident, & critical illness 10 paid holidays Vacation, personal, and sick time 401(k) with guaranteed match and profit share Employee referral bonus Limited education assistance Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years in a large corporate environment in Customer Service or Operations Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn and understand AS400 system Ability to remember facts, situational data and history of events regarding assigned customer base Ability to remember large amount of procedural details that need to be followed daily Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle; must travel to Lolita, TX for training and as needed by business demands Demonstrate exceptional teamwork, professional behavior, and respect for others Good oral and written communication skills Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non‑standard work hours Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions Job Responsibilities Process purchase orders, sample requests, claims, set up new customer data, and handle other inquiries through our system based on procedures Provide timely responses and attention to customers' needs Use open and skilled communication on problem resolution or issues that need clarification Coordinate customer issues or requests through various departments to ensure proper closure or resolution Manage daily reports to support issue status and take required action on all abnormal issues Manage and act on all accounts assigned, including orders, samples, claims, and sales representatives' requests/inquiries Process orders through order entry system and all sample requests via sample system Respond to inquiries from various departments or customers Review and take required action on all reports Enter new customer data and route through necessary departments for set‑up; coordinate orders, samples, new accounts and other issues to ensure satisfaction Follow all company procedures to sustain company interest and direction Perform additional functions or special projects as necessary based on business demands Equal Employment Opportunity Inteplast Group is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
