Construction Safety Manager

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support mission critical / data center construction projects in Augusta, GA. This is a field driven role for a safety professional who thrives on the jobsite, understands high risk construction environments, and leads through presence.


What You'll Do
• Maintain a strong on site presence (approximately 90% field / 10% admin)
• Implement and enforce client and project specific safety programs
• Serve as a site leader for electrical safety, including:
o Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
o Energized electrical work
o Temporary power and commissioning activities
• Support Energy Marshal responsibilities on mission critical projects
• Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and jobsite walkthroughs
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and field training
• Review AHAs, permits, and work plans
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Partner closely with project leadership and subcontractors to maintain a proactive safety culture

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of construction safety experience with certifications
OR
• 10+ years of construction safety experience without certifications
• Experience on mission critical / data center construction projects
• Strong background across multiple scopes:
o Electrical (NFPA 70 / 70E awareness)
o Mechanical
o Concrete
o Structural steel
o Excavation
• Willing and able to stay hands on in the field
