Physician - Internal Medicine - Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services with 25-30 patient encounters per shift
• Manage medical critical care cases including cardiac arrest/failure, respiratory arrest/failure, sepsis, metabolic disorders, renal failure, and OD/poisoning
• Provide surgical critical care coverage including pre- and post-operative general, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and cardio/thoracic cases
• Perform and manage invasive ventilation including ETT/NT/Tracheostomy
• Perform and manage non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP/CPAP
• Perform chest tube insertions
• Must hold an active Alabama license or IMLC
• Board certification required with BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Nearest airport is Birmingham with lodging accommodations available locally

Compensation:
