Corporate ParalegalLocation: Portland, OregonSchedule: Hybrid - 3 days in-office/2 remoteSalary: $80,000-$130,000Employment Type: Direct HireJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prominent national law firm seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its Business and Transactions team in Portland. This is an excellent opportunity to support sophisticated corporate matters while working alongside attorneys and legal professionals across multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and business transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and general corporate governance. This position requires someone who can independently manage assignments, anticipate next steps, and exercise sound judgment while balancing multiple priorities.Responsibilities:Support attorneys with mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies, venture capital financings, and other corporate transactionsServe as a primary liaison among attorneys, clients, and other involved partiesDraft, proofread, organize, and assemble transactional and closing documentsPrepare corporate governance materials, financing documents, corporate approvals, and related agreementsCoordinate and track due diligence, including maintaining checklists, reviewing documents, and assisting with disclosure schedulesDevelop and maintain closing checklists and monitor outstanding items through completionCoordinate transaction closings and handle post-closing follow-up, filings, and documentationPrepare and submit applications and other materials to state and federal regulatory agenciesRespond to client requests and coordinate the collection and distribution of transaction-related materialsMaintain accurate timekeeping, billing, and productivity recordsCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals across multiple officesQualifications4+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong focus on corporate or transactional matters, requiredExperience supporting mergers and acquisitions and/or venture capital transactions strongly preferredFour-year degree and paralegal certificate preferredStrong drafting, proofreading, research, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and assignments with minimal supervisionProactive approach with the judgment to identify issues, recommend solutions, and escalate concerns appropriatelyExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with professionals across multiple offices and practice groupsIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management platforms, and timekeeping softwareAvailability to work overtime when business needs requireBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage through firm-sponsored plansFlexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Account (HSA) options for eligible employeesEmployer-paid basic life insurance, with optional supplemental life insurance available for employees and dependentsShort-term and long-term disability coverageUp to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or placement of a childPaid time off starting at 19 days annually, increasing with tenure, plus unlimited tracked sick time and 10 paid holidaysImmediate eligibility for 401(k) participation with pre-tax, Roth, and after-tax contribution optionsPay Details: $80,000.00 to $130,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Keaton AndersonEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to applyRef: US_EN_27_872279_3134629
