Ugly Grouper – Retail Manager Job Description We’re hiring!! The Ugly Grouper is looking for friendly faces to spread the ‘Ugly Spirit’ and help lead our team in our growing restaurant’s retail division! This position offers room to grow as our retail expands, so join our amazing team as a Retail Manager now before it's too late! Retail Manager Position Summary: The Ugly Grouper Retail Manager will lead our Retail Associates in providing stellar customer service while meeting business sales quotas, promoting our retail clothing line - the coolest clothes on the island! Responsibilities: Provide accurate information (product features, pricing and after-sales services). Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services. Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing. Cross-sell products. Ensure retail displays are fully stocked, merchandised effectively. Manage returns of merchandise. Provide leadership to Retail Associates in excellent customer service (especially during peak times). Inform Retail Associates (and customers) about discounts and special offers. Provide customer feedback to Management. Stay up-to-date with new products/services. Qualifications: Demonstrated strong communication skills with both co-workers and customers. Able to give positive direction and multi-task. Understanding of the retail sales process. Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures. Basic math skills. Track record of achieving sales quotas. Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships. Ability to perform in fast-paced environments. Flexibility to work various shifts.
