CT Technologist

Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 9 hours (9:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: Attention: 4 hours of Billable Computer Modules are required prior to start. Modules are delivered during the week prior to start. The 4 hours should be added to the first week's timesheet. Department utilizes GE CT scanners. The Emergency Department unit is a Revolution EVO APEX. The main department unit is a Revolution EVO. Description: The department performs all CT exams except for cardiac or perfusion studies. Will have inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department exams. Average number of scans/studies performed is 60-100 patients per day. The department uses an Allscripts based system for EMR and Scimage PICOM for PACS. There are two scanners available: one in the main department and one in the Emergency Department. No floating or covering of other areas is required. The department has a supervisor present. Radiologists are not in-house; available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Starting IVs is a requirement for this department. Department will have set hours for scheduling; self-scheduling is not allowed. Weekend and holiday assignments may vary based on contract needs. Staff is expected to work if the need arises. Call or standby requirements are as needed, with response times specified. Scrubs are provided in light grey color. There is a cancellation policy in place, with specifics based on the contract duration.
