Overseas AR/AP Specialist I Job locations: Franklin, Tennessee, United States. Overview The Overseas Settlement Specialist I will assist the Overseas Settlement Supervisor in meeting and maintaining company goals and objectives by managing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) of assigned accounts. This position will be fully onsite based out of the Franklin TN office. Responsibilities Communicate with agents by email or phone to work on settlement each month or collect outstanding receivables from the agents. Escalate overdue AR for additional collection efforts. Manage accounts receivable and payable to all assigned agents accurately. Review agent’s monthly AR statement and match it with our outstanding payables. Judge the correctness of agent’s AR statement and communicate any missing payables to branches for follow‑up and set up of payables. Perform matching on spreadsheets; experience and knowledge of Excel help match more accurately and improve efficiency. Provide all documentation requested by agents and solve disputes. Relay all disputes or rejected AR from agents back to branches for additional information or correction of errors. Act as a liaison for agents and maintain continuous communication with branches, developing relationships with both parties. Work with agents on both receivable and payable, ultimately concluding settlements agreed to by both sides. After settlement, arrange for payment or request payment from the agent if we are the receiver. Ensure timely and accurate settlement of assigned agents. Following settlement, properly allocate settled transactions to AP/AR allocation in the accounting system to clear outstanding items. Maintain and generate reporting to identify delinquent AR and AP to branches. Provide follow‑up on identified issues and discrepancies to supervisor or manager and perform special projects as assigned. Perform all job functions while adhering to the company’s policies and procedures. Experience with MS D365 or SAP is a plus. Essential Job Functions Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of AP and AR experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of management. Ability to receive and understand direction from supervision and management.
