Product Development EngineerOur client, based in Essex County, NJ is seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, and manufacturing optimization. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.ResponsibilitiesSupport new product development projects.Plan and execute product trials and process improvement initiatives.Evaluate raw materials and manufacturing processes.Conduct product testing and analyze results.Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Operations, and EHS teams.Document testing, trials, and project outcomes.Assist with product launches and continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Materials, or ManufacturingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Internship, co-op, or related engineering experience.Mechanical testing, manufacturing, or materials science experience is a plus.Benefit offerings include PTO/Holiday pay, Medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, employee assistance program, and a 401k plan.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled, Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
