Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal on behalf of our client to support attorneys and clients throughout the probate and estate administration process. This individual will play an important role in managing probate matters, preparing legal documents, reviewing financial records, and communicating with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in Florida probate procedures, with strong analytical, communication, and client service skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling probate and estate administration matters.
• Communicate with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries regarding probate proceedings and estate administration.
• Prepare and review deeds, probate forms, pleadings, inventories, and asset transfer documents.
• Assist with identifying, organizing, analyzing, and valuing estate assets.
• Review and analyze bank statements, brokerage statements, and other financial records.
• Prepare and file probate documents through the Florida courts' electronic filing system.
• Assist with estate-related tax filings, including federal estate tax returns, as needed.
• Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate case files, and ensure the timely completion of required documentation.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, financial institutions, and other relevant parties to facilitate the probate process.
• Provide administrative and legal support in a fast-paced practice while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of client service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience as a paralegal or legal administrative professional supporting probate, trusts, estates, or estate planning matters.
• Familiarity with Florida probate procedures, court rules, and estate administration requirements.
• Proficiency with Florida courts' electronic filing system.
• Experience reviewing financial records, organizing estate assets, and assisting with asset valuations.
• Familiarity with federal estate tax returns preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, multitask effectively, and work independently in a busy legal environment.
• A strong commitment to client service, professionalism, and accuracy.
