Senior Industrial EngineerBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer (Level 4) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.Position ResponsibilitiesApplies advanced industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirementsReviews the development of complex plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flowsIdentifies new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operationsDesigns, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnelReviews work flow design and analysisLeads the development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leader and customersLeads research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilizationReviews plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methodsEvaluates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practicesLeads operations planning, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are metLeads execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practicesMonitors production, performance visibility and recovery planning supportEnsures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelinesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
