Skilled Laborer — Innovative Construction
Innovative Construction is looking for a reliable, hardworking Skilled Laborer to join our growing construction team in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Position
Skilled Laborer — Construction
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to work, and has hands-on construction experience. This position will assist with a variety of residential construction projects, including additions, ADUs, remodeling, general contracting, and more .
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential construction and remodeling projects
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall, concrete, siding, trim, and general construction tasks
- Safely operate common hand and power tools
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow plans, instructions, and safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a construction crew
- Assist skilled tradesmen and project leads as needed
- Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience required
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of residential construction
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Additional skills or trade experience are a plus
