Responsibilities Converse with the model in Kaqchikel across a wide range of topics, verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance, and capture reproducible error traces. Document failure modes to help harden model reasoning and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics. Document and analyze contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field is ideal. Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work signals fit. Clear, metacognitive communication—"showing your work"—is essential. Compensation and Employment Details We offer a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
