Qualifications and Experience:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-Categorical or required certifications)
• EC (Early Childhood) certification or endorsement required for PreK roles
• Experience supporting students in moderate or resource settings preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction for students with a variety of needs
• Provide instruction in settings such as moderate classrooms, co-taught resource rooms, and self-contained environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and instructional staff to promote student achievement
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Engage regularly with families to support student success and transition planning
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
