Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Prepare detailed project documentation and deliverables
• Interpret and analyze plans, specifications, and design criteria
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and consultants
• Apply building codes, industry standards, and best practices in design
• Estimate probable construction costs for mechanical systems
• Conduct site visits and generate field reports
• Design and document HVAC and plumbing systems using AutoCAD and Revit
• Perform mechanical engineering calculations and assist with equipment selection
• Edit and write project specifications as part of the documentation process
• Use simulation tools to analyze building performance and optimize system designs
• Support implementation of the project quality management plan (QMP)

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and MEP design fundamentals
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering software for calculations and performance analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• LEED Accreditation (preferred)
