Registered Nurse - Medical Intermediate Care

Schedule
12-hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Massachusetts Placement Agency License
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License
- 1-2 years of nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, Cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Intermediate Care Unit, managing a diverse range of cases.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, delivering appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and care in electronic medical records.
- Participate in unit floating as required and work across both medical-tele and intermediate care areas.

Compliance / Notes
- Documents required prior to offer: Massachusetts Placement Agency License and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License.
- Candidates must be located outside a 90-mile radius from the facility.
