You'll deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services-including deliveries, C-sections, and emergency coverage-within a state-of-the-art facility that features its own OR for C-sections. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled physicians to contribute to patient care in a dynamic setting, with flexible scheduling and ongoing support.


Required Skills

• Current certification or active participation in the exam process leading to certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (American Board or Osteopathic Board)
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in OB/GYN
• Proven experience performing at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past two years or equivalent clinical fellowship
• Proficiency in delivering obstetric care, including deliveries and C-sections
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to perform all routine OB/GYN procedures with competence

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working in hospital-based OB/GYN settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to handle high-volume delivery rates (25-40/month)
• Additional certifications or training in specialized OB/GYN procedures

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Active, valid medical license in California or ability to obtain
• Previous locum or hospital-based OB/GYN practice experience preferred

Other Requirements

• Availability for scheduled shifts starting May 28, 2026, with urgent dates throughout the summer and into 2026
• Travel and lodging support provided, with preferred lodging at GoldMiner's Inn
• Credentialing process to be completed within 10 days of application
• Must meet all hospital credentialing and proctoring requirements, including observation of initial deliveries and procedures
