What You'll Do as a Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with PREMIER THERAPY, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide individualized rehabilitation services that help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, balance, endurance, and mobility.

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and functional movement.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Encourage and motivate residents as they work toward their rehabilitation goals.

What We're Looking For

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills.

• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to patient care.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a rehabilitation team.

• Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
