Insight Global is seeking Stationary Engineers for a top facilities services and government support client. This candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical mechanical systems at a major military installation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, controls, and related building infrastructure within large commercial or healthcare environments. This individual will serve as a shift leader, conduct facility inspections, respond to service requests and emergencies, and ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Location: Onsite at the 96th Medical Group facilities at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida

Openings: 1 Full Time, 2 Part Time

• 2nd Shift FTE: M-F, 2nd shift, 2-10:30pm 
• 2nd Shift PT: Sat/Sun, 2nd shift, 2-10:30pm 
• 3rd Shift PT: Sat/Sun, 10pm-6:30am 

Employment:

• This is a direct hire opportunity with the end client.
• Pay rate is $32.00/hour + $5.92/hour in fringe pay  
• When annualized, total compensation (including fringe) comes out to approximately $79,000 annually for full-time employees and $31,500 for part-time employees.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial mechanical systems operation, maintenance, and repair experience
• At least 2.5 years of healthcare facility experience required. Experience can be from either dedicated healthcare or mixed-use buildings, if it includes exposure to applicable healthcare equipment and systems. Previous work in urgent care centers, medical offices, radiology facilities, dental practices, or similar settings will be considered.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with large, complex mechanical systems and controls
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, BAS control drawings, and operations manuals
• Strong knowledge of maintenance safety practices and procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a DoD clearance
• Valid driver’s license

Plusses:

• Experience with boiler systems (hot water and steam)
• Chiller maintenance and operations experience
• Controls system experience in large commercial facilities
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems
• Experience supporting government, military, or healthcare facilities

Day-to-Day:

• Operate, maintain, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, motors, heat exchangers, fuel systems, and air handling units
• Operate boilers, chillers, cooling towers, cogeneration systems, compressors, and water chemistry systems
• Lead shift personnel and oversee workforce operations safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily facility inspections and equipment tours
• Perform and oversee corrective and preventive maintenance activities
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency situations
• Maintain operating logs, maintenance records, and required documentation
• Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory accountability
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site personnel during repairs and emergency responses
