Phlebotomist Floater

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am‑6:00 pm and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. This position requires full vaccination against COVID‑19. All prospective hires must provide proof of vaccination or qualify for medical or religious accommodations as required by law. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Two or more years of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency must be provided. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years. Phlebotomist Incentives PST Incentive Plan: Participation may include a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary staff are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees working a 7‑on/7‑off schedule are eligible for all benefits listed above except PTO or FTO.
